Common questions.

What does the licence actually send?

One HTTPS request to activate, then a once-a-day check while the licence is active. It sends the licence key, app version, and a one-way hardware fingerprint (a salted SHA-256 digest that can't be reversed). It never sends recordings, transcripts, notes, attendees, or usage counters. The full field list, and how to block it, is on the security page.

Does an AI Action call an external model?

Not unless you ask it to. The models are downloaded once during setup and run entirely on this machine — pull the network cable and the result is identical. Optionally, you can connect a cloud provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Infomaniak in Switzerland) with your own API key; that stays off until you configure it.

Refund policy?

14 days, full refund, no questions asked. Cancel anytime after that — the subscription simply stops.

If the app is free, what stops me installing it everywhere?

Nothing — please do. Install the free version on every machine you own; each install stays free, forever.

The 2-seat limit applies to Pro unlocks, not installs. When you enter a Pro licence key, the app activates a Pro seat with the licence server. Two seats means Pro mode can be active on two machines at a time — enter the same key on a third machine and the server refuses, the app stays in Free mode there. The licence unlocks features, not the download.

Can I move my Pro seat between machines?

Yes. Deactivate a seat from the dashboard or from app settings; the next machine you activate picks up the freed slot. No manual approval.
